Brian Lane (1981-) is a Long Island drummer, guitarist, and producer who is most famous for his work in Brand New.

BiographyEdit

Brian Lane began playing in a Melodic Hardcore band called The Rookie Lot with members of Brand New. When the band broke up in 1999, Brian Lane started a side project with Daryl Palumbo of Glassjaw to form Beat Scientific. Under the name Beat Scientific they released one EP entitled "Student of the Drums". He also used to record bands like Prescott C. in his home studio. in 2000 when Brand New formed, he joined on drums and has been playing with them ever since.
