[edit] About
This wiki is about one of the most exciting Music Scenes in the country, that of Long Island. Since the 1950s, Long Island has catered to nearly every musical genre and has produced some of the greatest and most revered musical acts in history. This wikia can give the long since established music scene a strong sense of community as well as enlighten outsiders of the vibrant history and promising future that the Long Island Music Scene has to offer.
[edit] History of Long Island Music Scene Wikia
In the early spring of 2008, Dylan Ebrahimian asked for rights to a wiki dedicated to the history of the long Island music scene. He was granted them, and has since created 300+ articles by himself, with the help of people like Robbie Hassett, Neil Rubenstein (of This Year's Model, Sons of Abraham), Kris Baldwin (of Glassjaw), As Tall As Lions, and others. Since these humbling sign-ons, Dylan's Gabriel the Marine bandmate Mark Herburger has signed on to the project as a special assistant Editor to help Dylan with editing, writing, and maintaining the articles and overall aesthetic quality of the Wikia.
