Nietoperz is a satirical hardcore punk band from Long Island.
Nietoperz was formed in 2013. The name of the band means “bat” in Polish after other band names were already taken. Major Influences to the band are Surf Nazis Must Die, Minor Threat, Generic Grindcore, The Punk-o-Matic flash game series, Generic Hardcore, and the cult followings of short-lived bands. The two founding members were prevalent in the fifth grade rap scene, bursting onto the scene with the 2004 hit single, “That’s Too Bad”.
