Rescue is Possible was a Christian Progressive Hardcore band from Port Washington that was formed in late 2007 by Mike Marino and Divo from Far From Elysium.

After Far From Elysium dissolved, guitarist Mike Marino and bassist/screamer Divo formed a new project called "Rescue is Possible". They recruited the young guitarist Raffi Froundjian from Manhasset and the drummer "Baby" Warren Trunz. The band had a bassist previous to Chris named Akshay that performed on their first demo. The demo was recorded in early 2008 at Nick Zinnanti's Riverhead studio. The demo included the songs "In Whom I Take Refuge", "This Barren Night", and "Worth the Wait". Akshay was replaced soon after by Chris from the Metalcore band, Days on End. The band also plays the songs "Trust Me, Craig Knows Everything" and "Waking Life". It has recently been said that Rescue Is Possible will be recording a new song with producer Nick Zinnanti.
Rescue is Possible then recorded a three song EP with producer Nick Zinnanti in the summer of 2009. It was entitled "There Is Hope. The band disbanded soon after.
