The Free Refills were a Pop Punk/Melodic Hardcore/Punk band that was formed in 2000 and became Attempt at Perfection.

The members of The Free Refills all attended Holy Trinity High School (besides Eric Holden) and began a band with Chris Donovan on vocals, Mike Fee on guitar, Joe Dougan on guitar and backup vocals, Dan Leo on bass, and Pete Dragone on drums. They released one demo, and obtained much underground appeal for their song "Falling Into You". They kicked out Dan Leo and replaced him with Eric Holden (Fioffus) on bass.
