The Waiting Process was a Pop Punk band from Lindenhurst, Long Island, New York that existed from 1998 until 2001. The members went on to play in groups such as Brand New, The Reunion Show, A-Life, Stealing Jane, Heads Vs. Breakers, Man Explodes, Breslau, The Modern, Your Tragic Hero, Keep Breathing, The Matt Sharps and many more. The band, Taking Back Sunday, took their name from their song, "Taking Back Sunday". Bassist, James “The Moose” McAuliffe unfortunately passed away in 2006. He is greatly missed. The band reunited for a special holiday benefit show on December 23rd, 2014 at Brew Haus in Lindenhurst.
